Well the three picks were definitely an issue, as well as the flood of penalties in the second half (one of which resulted in points for you).
Yeah...I saw that started very early in the 4th Q with overuse warnings...Got ugly after that
But thats not the reason I lost.
I pride myself on my teams punching above their weight by crafting good gameplans, but this loss is solidly on me and making a rookie mistake.
I wanted to run just my best offensive stuff against you, so I took out about 5-7 plays during the planning process. Unfortunately I failed to account for the fact that removing those plays would radically change the run/pass balance, and I ended up running a heavily 'pass-first' game against you, playing right into your clear advantage in pass rushing against my young offensive line.
Thats why I lost, lesson learned and yes I am absolutely kicking myself.
Now go win the whole thing please, so at least I can say I took the champ deep into OT lol.
