Roughly 50-50 with my draft , same here the busts were whole position groups , yikes!

There were worse camps and when I make cuts, it won't seem as bad. But like a few of you, I already have positions of need moving forward.

My second best pass blocker has 61 future blocking, my second best run blocker has 58. My top blockers were 90 in there respective specialty but turnstiles in the other.

Just got word we've been sponsored by "Jim Bobs turnstiles, we never block you."

Elsewhere the team is struggling but tolerable with a 3 headed monster at RB and super elite QB who can also kick hold. But with a line this bad I'd say 3-13/3-14 (not sure if 16 or 17 games) is the likely record.

Took 12 rookies to camp (including a number of early picks), only 1 showed progression, 9 showed regression.

My 2nd, 3rd and 4th year players have mostly regressed too.

The veterans seem to have had 'meh' camps with little movement either way.


We have a rather radical plan for season 1, pre-season will be interesting as I'll either look like a numpty or a genius. At this stage, I would expect us to be somewhere between 7 and 9 wins - as that's where we generally are after an inaugural season.

Anyway it is what it is, we move on - the scouting team (if we only had one) would all have been fired. As I did the Scouting, I'm going to give myself a 'hall pass' with the must do better grade for future years.

I suspect that there could be a frenzy of activity over players who don't make the final 53 around the League with the He's hopeless, but....he's better than what we have' mantra being the 'phrase of the day'.

With all the 'Bad News Bears' stories coming out of training camps around the League, someone, somewhere has to have had the 'Field of Dreams' TC 'If you draft them, they will BOOM'

Just called myself and fired myself and will be taking it over from myself by myself to make the picks myself next season, surely there will be improvement.

…. On the bright side it looks like many of us are in the same leaky boat lol

Currently, I'm having lots of fun moving players around the roster to positions where they will fit better, even if their cur/fut rating doesn't reflect that (although as their weight trends towards positional ideal over time that should improve).

All of a sudden, I don't feel so bad LOL

I went conservative with my picks (low vol) and it shows in the training camp results. Had some surprising hits on offense. Most of my misses came on defense. No surprise, considering I drafted defense late. I'll take it.
