Setting the game plan

Hey.

I've recently started, finished the allocation draft and are now looking at the gameplan (while waiting for FA to happen). I feel like I've gotten my offensive gameplan down, but then found the misc tab.

How do I know how long FG's I can ask my kicker to attempt, without just setting myself up for failure?

Like is there a strength to yard range "converter", like 95+ kick strength, attempting 55+ yards is 50/50, 50-54 is 70%+, 46-49 is 85%+ and 45 and below seen as automatic (PURELY strength here).

Obviously kicking takes other skill too, but for now, length is the most important. If my kicker has 20 accuracy, trying to kick from 30 or 50 yards can be all the same in my eyes.

i'd set it at 56 or right around there and at 60 at end of half. You should be fine. If you find your kicker is coming up short at a specific distance i'd lower it slightly but i find that's a good distance :)

Have you looked at my kicker, or is that just a general note for most kickers?

I found the allocation draft extremely lackluster on offense, so I'm sort of banking on my D and K. :)

Ya your kicker is 91 strength so he should be fine from that distance. If you notice he's coming up short you can lower it. Or if you want to risk it more move it to 57 and see how he does. I generally will stay in that range and adjust based on results.

Below the regular field goal settings, you'll see a 70% range. This is the distance you should expect your kicker to be able to make 70% from. It is showing you the lowest value after considering both accuracy and strength. If your kicker is high strength but low accuracy, then 70% of the kicks from this distance will end up between the uprights; if he has high accuracy but low strength, 70% of his kicks from this distance would be high enough to clear the crossbar.

Alright. Thanks! :)

Time to play a Ravens style offense. Run, run, run, kick, defend, defend, score. ;-)
