Did something change in the happy/unhappy determination ?
I have 2 players unhappy right now. They are both back-ups. Is it because of that ?

Probably, if they feel like they are good enough to start they will become unhappy (even if you do have a better player ahead of them, if they feel like they could start elsewhere they will want to)
